Wait…Did you get your free book!?

Just checking in to remind you all that there are only hours left to get your free copy of UNTRADITIONAL! Choose from the ebook, audiobook or paperback version. Get passion-fy as you want it. #Salute to those who have already subscribed but if you haven’t, you still can today.

How can I get my book?

All you have to do is subscribe to https://www.patreon.com/dncwrites before midnight. Subscribe starting for only $1 and you’ll get an autographed copy of my best selling erotic romance novella. Keep it for yourself or give it as a gift, either way you’ll end up on top (literally depending on the chapter you read 😉).

Why would I subscribe to this indie author’s Patreon page?

Did you like Office Extravaganza, or Flying BAV or The Beauty behind the Beast?

Or have you already read Untraditional and want bonus scenes of your favorite story? Maybe you want to get some sexy content before the public and be able to help drive what stories are published? Or maybe you’re interested in checking out a new author who has a fresh perspective on romance and erotica? Or maybe you’re trying to figure out if you really like erotica or just porn hub and want a “gateway” read to test out your theory?

If you said yes to any of those, then you should definitely subscribe.

Why is DNC giving her baby away for free?

It’s simple. My birthday is Nov. 27 and I want to show my gratitude to my current passion-fy fam for all your continued support. Plus, I’ve challenged myself to get at least 10 more patrons so I can get feedback on my upcoming books (a chapter is available right now on Patreon). When you subscribe to Patreon, you are helping to get more stories published, crafting some of the storylines with your feedback and getting some steamy words that will feed your book desires.

You all are so amazing and I’m so thankful that you even read the blog (I hope you read this blog).

Join me on Patreon and grab you own piece of passion-fy today.

[The Movement] #Blackdollarsmatter

I’m starting a new topic called “The Movement” to highlight current efforts to push change in our community. Sometimes we miss moments when we can join a movement so hopefully this will help keep us on top of key cultural affairs.

Message: Hit’em in the pockets

“Cash rules everything around me. C.R.E.A.M. Get the money. Dollar, dollar bill y’all!” -“C.R.E.A.M.” Wu-Tang Clan

For Black Friday, we were pushed to not spend “black” dollars. And if we wanted to spend those dollars to do so at black establishments. I’m proud to say that I spent my dollars at the neighborhood “Fish and Wings” restaurant owned by a wonderful black business man.

This idea of hitting “them” where it hurts the most is not new. Generations before us decided to boycott buses, boycott restaurants and hotels and support blacked-owned businesses. People around the nation joined together to boycott Black Friday as another step down the path to find #JusticeforMikeBrown. Both the Galleria and Chesterfield Malls were shutdown in my hometown. Check out the report on CNN.com and Fox2 Now. #NotOneDime

Sales, both in stores and online, from Thanksgiving through the weekend were estimated to have dropped 11 percent, to $50.9 billion, from $57.4 billion last year – National Retail Federation.

Then the numbers came in and sales are down 11% compared to last year. Could this be from protests? Hopefully it is. But I know one thing, shutting down both of those large malls in St. Louis hurt the pockets many large chain stores. So let’s continue to bring dollars to our communities and take it upon ourselves to be more cognizant of how each dollar we spend affects the bigger picture.

Lastly, I want to send a challenge to all black business owners: Please take more pride and respect into how you do business. I know I have had to stop giving money or even stray away from doing business with other fellow black business women based on their unprofessional demeanor and poor business ethics. Please remember that everything you do is a reflection of your business as much as it is of yourself. Come correct or don’t come at all. #realtalk
