2023 has been an incredible year for me when it comes to connecting with fellow writers around Atlanta. So much so, that I’m happy to announce that I’m doing another Intimate Writers Meet Up Saturday, Sept. 30 in a secret place in downtown Atlanta. The location will be announced tomorrow, so grab your ticket today because Eventbrite will add a “fee” once it’s there (event planning tip).
I’ve had a couple of meet-ups thus far and everyone who has attended has loved the format; food, fellowship, and focus. My writing business, H.E.R. Legacy, is the host of the event and I provide the location, food, drinks, and bonus surprises for attendees. Over three hours, we tackle what obstacles have kept us from hitting our writing goals and discuss what successes we have had along our various writing journeys.
Two authors who have attended have completed their book–one has theirs for sale and the other will launch theirs next month. Another author is wrapping up her book and is prime to launch that at the latest in early 2024. And I can’t wait to see this momentum continue.
